This livery is for the Heatblur F-14B for DCS and represents VF-102 circa 1999-2000. Currently, 8 of VF-102's 14 aircraft are represented here, but this list will grow as modex numbers and BuNos are matched up. A blank skin without Modex or BuNo has been added to allow users to create their own.

Installation:

1) Drop the F-14B folder in this file into your Saved Games\DCS or DCS.openbeta\Liveries folder.

2) Select the livery in DCS mission editor

Known Bugs:

1) No crew names on canopy rail.

I was unable to find quality images of all aircraft in the squadron showing crew names. Since I am attemtpting to replicate the whole squadron and the simulations in DCS are usually fictional situations, I have decided to forgo crew names at this time. Perhaps in the future.

2) No carrier titles.

During this period, VF-102 deployed aboard USS John F. Kennedy. We don't yet have a functional Kennedy in DCS, and images exist of VF-102's jets in this livery not consistently having the carrier titles I chose to leave them absent. This will also give mission and campaign designers the liberty of placing VF-102 on any carrier of their choosing without the titles clashing.

3) AB102's tail looks different than the others.

During the period this skin pack is portraying, AB102's tail art remained held over from the previous deployment on the George Washington. This is on purpose.

This livery remains a work in progress. Please enjoy!
